Specification
Application Designed to close automatically under fire conditions to Fire resistance Tested in accordance with BS476: part 22: 1987, for up to 4 hours fire resistance. Operation Hand chain/pull cord or electrical operation, both benefit from a built-in feature that allows the shutter to self-close automatically under a controlled descent. Activation Activated by a thermal fusible link release unit when the Fire control panel Offered as an additional extra, its features include: Curtain Constructed from galvanised interlocking curved sections of suitable gauge to suit the shutter size and required fire resistance, each alternate lath is fitted with a malleable steel endlock to prevent lateral movement. Bottom Rail The base of the curtain is fitted with an inverted galvanised T section. Side Guides Formed from galvanised mild steel channel sections secured to the opening structure by continuous galvanised angles. Roller Assembly Constructed from mild steel tube, laser cut mild steel spools and machined bright steel shafts. Endplates The roller assembly is supported by mild steel endplates with mounting angles for fixing to the support structure. Coil Casing Provided as standard - formed from galvanised pressed sheet metal to enclose the rear of the shutter barrel and curtain assembly. |
