85mm insulated steel lath
An insulated shutter curtain is made from a number of interlocking sections called Insulaths. Two Insulaths are interlocked to form one twin walled lath.
The cavity is then in-filled with an environmentally friendly CFC free insulation.
The result is a thermally efficient barrier, that provides the inside of a building with protection from outside extremes. This means is that an Insulath door can be installed to combat both cold and excess heat.
Insulath curtains have a thermal value of 0.69W/m2K and an acoustic value of 18dB(A). As derived by the University of Central England calculations.
Punched vision panels with polycarbonate glazing are available.
